So to begin, I am a huge fan of old monster movies. I have shelves that are chock full of venerable Universal, Hammer, Amicus, and Euro-horror masterpieces. Lugosi, Karloff, Rains, Lee, Cushing, both Chaneys, absolutely some of the finest. I've also been a role-player for a good number of years, and truly feel fortunate to be part of one of the best regular circles with which to play. They've always been encouraging, creative, sporting, I can't sing their praises enough. Back to my point: I've always loved monsters that are as large as life and twice as spooky, movies with a genuine flair for mischief and the theatrical, that are, as Mark Gatiss once put it, a doorway to "a world of shadows and suggestion. I've played and loved a lot of different games, and it seemed almost inevitable that I would try my hand at Vampire: the Requiem. When it comes to favourites in this game line, some people I've talked to choose Changeling: the Lost or Promethean: the Created or even Hunter: the Vigil because they feel they identify with their themes somehow. It's not something I share, which made me feel a bit like the odd one out, but I was told to run with it regardless. I'd heard a lot of negative press about White Wolf's games, and I've had one or two bad experiences, but I've also had some good ones. I believe in not painting an entire community using the same brush, and I wanted to see what I could come up with, having found my confidence as a Game Master, or Dungeon Master, or Storyteller, or Narrator, or Referee, or whatever your preferred terminology may be (I went with the Japanese term Rakugoka for this particular campaign, since that's a type of storyteller who uses minimalist props and voices. I was pleased to find parts of the book that were supportive of using the system as a toolkit. When I found the setting primers detailed in the 2nd edition core rule-book, my eyes instantly drifted to Tokyo. One other thing I admit to being is a serious Japanophile. That all being said, in the spirit of honesty and to give fair warning, I'm the type who loves to put their own spin on things. Almost, no, pretty much anything I enjoy, I look at with a creative eye. It's not out of any kind of disrespect to the source material, it's not because I think I could do objectively better, it's just how I choose to enjoy the experience. That may be another reason I opted to take the primer for Tokyo as a foundation and start building my world upon it, because as written, it's different to other domains. I started coming up with its supernatural history, the individuals who populate it, and my own ideas to fill in the mysteries the book leaves on purpose. After all, gaps are made for plugging. What this means is that if you're a hardcore follower of the lore as written, this story probably isn't for you. If you're a fan of mucking about with the elements, you also might find this isn't for you. I'm no judge as to the quality of my own work, I might be absolutely rubbish at this, but if you are good and open-minded and still willing to give me a chance, then I heartily invite you to follow my players' story as it unfolds. Anyway, I think that's enough fussing and introduction. You're here for the gory stuff. The only required reading I gave my players for this was the Vampire: the Requiem 2nd edition core rule-book, plus whatever material was absolutely relevant to their chosen bloodline (which were picked from browsing a helpful fan wiki. If nothing else, the bloodlines do provide you with some great options for extra customisation. I've never expected my players to do a huge or intimidating amount of homework for the "privilege" of playing a game for fun, and there's like a million books in this line across all the editions, and not all of us can afford to buy every single piece of material. After nearly a year of work and anticipation (and my previous game finally reaching its dramatic conclusion) our inaugural session happened on 31/Aug/19. First off, a very quick introduction to our seven characters. I gave each of my players a couple of prompts to choose from based on things I learned about their characters and methods I might use to integrate them into the world, and what I wound up with was them being divided over about three different concurrent scenes, which I have planned to bring together over a handful of sessions. A bit like those television series with hour-long episodes. I wanted to avoid sticking them all in a room together and announcing "you're a coterie" without explanation for the sake of my personal convenience. It felt a bit like I'd be taking away from their personal agency. Anyway, we have: TRAVIS KING of the Ventrue Clan, a private detective raised on an American Air Force base, and has since followed in the footsteps of his missing mentor. Sired by Ninzaburō Fujita, a respected elder and policeman (rank: Chief Inspector) who serves both vampire and mortal law. Member of the Sotoha bloodline. AJISAI RYUZAKI of the Gangrel Clan, the leader of a girl gang, the Kurohanabata. Many of the Gangrel ally themselves with the Maeda Group, one of the four powerful zaibatsu who replace the outlawed covenants in Tokyo. Sired by Akane "Boss" Benibara, who often takes charge of the Maeda blood hunts. Member of the Kerberos bloodline. KENSHIRO YOSHIDA of the Nosferatu Clan, a martial artist and co-owner of the Yoshi Brothers Dojo with a human friend. The Nosferatu are prosperous in Tokyo, and many work with the Takahashi Family, one of the leading zaibatsu. Eldest of the would-be coterie, sired by Jirokichi Nakamura, the Nosferatu leader. Member of the Azerkatil bloodline. YAGI TAKUJI of the Gangrel Clan, a wandering savage from a small, time-displaced fishing village, now destroyed by industrial greed. Sired by Iwao Shizuoka, an extremely private hermit elder who has found himself elevated to the status of an icon among the independents of Tokyo. Member of the Mara bloodline. FABIANO NOBU of the Daeva Clan, a kabuki performer who has come to Tokyo to seek out his Japanese roots. A member of Ume House, the most mystically inclined of the zaibatsu. Sired by Nobutsuna Mikazuki, a kabuki master and prominent Ume member. Member of the Tianpàn Xiao bloodline. TAKAHIRO REID of the Mekhet Clan, a shadowy, street-smart information dealer, with a particular interest in weird rumours and the criminal underworld. Sired by Hitomi Ibaraka, shadowy spymaster and director of the Maeda Group's New Special Projects division. Member of the Lynx bloodline. MIZUKI OGURO of the Mekhet Clan, a perky teenage ballet dancer-turned-urban wild child. Youngest of the would-be coterie, sired by the mysterious Momo. Member of the Qedeshah bloodline. CHURCH OF THE POISON MIND (1. When Japan surrendered to the Americans following the catastrophic bombings at Nagasaki and Hiroshima, one of the conditions was the complete removal of centralised Kindred government and the dissolution of the covenants. According to legend, the Last Prince of the city listened carefully and without emotion, and after agreeing to the terms, he and his Primogen Cabinet all committed hara-kiri. Decades later, this rule of governance continues, with the four zaibatsu rising to effectively take their place. Being established by extended coteries and not pursuing any particular dogma or goals beyond business dealings, they were not found to be in violation of the surrender. Today, the four zaibatsu are comprised of the Takahashi Family, the Maeda Group, Ume House, and the human-led Hototogisu. These four corporate entities laid the groundwork for the first functioning human-vampire alliance, which was officially formalised in April of 2020 after five years of extremely hard work and planning. This is a unique (not to mention controversial) movement, and other domains have been sitting up and taking notice: some with interest, noting the changing times and the need to adapt, others with fear and disgust, perceiving it was a mockery of their venerated old ways. The tradition of Masquerade remains in place for now, as the alliance are not yet ready to come out of the coffin. Recently, however, the Lancea et Sanctum, numbering only thirteen amid a population of roughly three-hundred, have started to gain traction due to the intervention of a London transfer named Dana Merchant. Opinion is divided when it comes to Dana's ultimate motives, though it is no secret that the church are opposed to the goals of the alliance. The Lancea have announced an open Elysium for the independent and less fortunate elements of the city, to be held at the Nakajima Teahouse. Travis, Ajisai, and Kenshiro have all been asked by their sires to investigate this discretely. Travis had earlier received word from his secretary that a young couple, Mr and Mrs Fudo, left a message for him in regards to a case. Travis arranges a meeting for the following night, before departing for the Elysium, where he is met by Ajisai and Kenshiro. The three of them speak with a nervous-looking fledgeling named Yoko Tsuwabuki, a member of an independent (and protected) coterie known as the Night Surgeons, and learn that she has been sent by her own sire to provide aid should something go wrong at the Elysium. This unintentional warning puts the three vampires immediately on high alert, and after taking some time to reassure Yoko, they head inside. The host of the Elysium is a mid-ranking priest named Father Wataru Washio. Although the coterie had previously spotted a few more Lancea priests outside, they suddenly appear to be absent with no explanation, and Father Washio isn't ready to take any questions from his captive audience. He seems rather mild-mannered and ascetic by nature, espousing the spiritual and physical benefits of the devout, and so far as anybody can tell, he really means it. The church has given him a purpose, and it's one he is all too happy to share with his brothers and sisters-in-darkness. The trio note that it's working: more than a few of those attendance are actually listening to his pitch. It has become clear to them that this whole affair is intended as a recruitment drive, disguised as a social gathering in order to work around the laws banning the expansion of the old covenants. Suddenly, the ceiling of the teahouse explodes, and the Elysium is invaded by hulking monsters that Kenshiro recognises as kaizō ningen (cyborgs) having battled a prototype version at an underground fighting ring on the night of his transformation seven years prior. These cyborgs are a lot hardier than their predecessor, and as the trio swiftly learn, designed specifically to destroy vampires. Their armour plating deflects bullets and projectiles, their weapons are loaded with lethal incendiary shells, and any attempts to gore, decapitate, or bite their organic parts unleashes a foul-smelling green sludge that is toxic to the Kindred, melting their flesh. Although the coterie successfully rescue a number of people and delay the cyborgs from reaching their intended target, which appears to be Father Washio, plenty of other Kindred are gruesomely destroyed when the invaders activate their self-termination protocol. THE HOUSE ON THE HILL (1. Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Yagi Takuji has recently arrived. Intent on finding a more permanent haven and hunting ground for himself, he has managed to make contact with Ume House, a group who investigate locations for those Kindred seeking territory. He was reached out to by a rather stern ghoul, who informs him that in exchange for aiding one of their agents on a tour of inspection, she will see to it that he is "moved up the list. Travelling to the old hillside Ayano Mansion, which has stood abandoned for many years, Yagi encounters the agent in question, a rather flamboyant individual named Fabiano Nobu. The ghoul, who identifies herself as Kawai Amagappa (an obvious alias, as Amagappa references the raincoat she wears) arrives to inform the two of the history of the house, and gives them the front door key, and a GoPro camera so as to record their findings. She will not be accompanying them, but gives them her mobile 'phone number and tells them she'll be staying at a nearby hotel. Nobu takes charge, since Yagi has little to no experience with modern technology. The two don't exactly hit it off, with Yagi making snide remarks about Nobu's mixed ancestry, though they manage not to start tearing into each other. Once inside the dark and dingy mansion, they find that absolutely everything has been moved onto the ground floor, including the separating wooden walls and doors from the upper level, making it difficult to traverse. Making their way up the stairs, they find it completely bare. Yagi uncovers a mural hidden beneath a section of loose wallpaper, which depicts a pale figure with black wings standing triumphant over a horde of hideous monsters. Yagi decides that the figure in the picture represents the Strix, a type of evil spirit that despises all vampires, while Nobu believes it could be some hitherto unheard of lost clan, though they lack the information to hypothesise further. Whatever it is, the picture makes them both feel incredibly uneasy, and they opt to find the basement rather than remain in sight of it. They find the basement door locked, and the key they have doesn't work. Just as Yagi decides to use his considerable strength to force it, it swings open by itself, sending him tumbling down the stairs and into the darkness. Thankfully the fall isn't too long, and he's able to shrug off the superficial damage. The basement is another singular, wide room, and seems to be occupied from end to end by an old carpenter's workshop of some kind. An empty sake cup and jug indicate that the last occupant left in a hurry, and further in, they find rows of wooden dolls sitting in tall cabinets. Yagi warns Nobu to be respectful, citing the Japanese belief that an object which reaches a certain age or is valued enough may take on a life of its own. Attempts to communicate with the dolls don't seem to work, though it does lead them to discuss the fact that whatever opened the locked door mere moments ago has yet to make itself known. Just as they reach this unsettling conclusion, something with glowing red eyes leaps at them out of the gloom. NIGHT SCHOOL (1. Mean-erwhile, the last two stars of our show have both uncovered rumours of a haunting in the third floor bathroom of Chīsanaiwa Primary School. Word tells of strange smells, unexplained sounds from within the walls, dead rats being found by the caretakers at night—ordinarily it would be nothing to be concerned by. After all, ghost stories in schools are a yen a dozen in Tokyo, but there's one detail that stands out to Takahiro Reid: according to his sources, a known serial killer has been sighted in the area. One who's supposed to be dead. After stopping off in Shinjuku for a bite to drink (which turns out to be less than pleasant experience due to his chosen victim's drunk and sickly state) he catches a train and sets off to the school in Minato, intent on confirming or debunking the story. Upon arriving, he encounters a fellow Mekhet Clan vampire named Mizuki Oguro. A sweet, peppy, and excitable fledgeling, Mizuki has also come to investigate the rumours, though her goals are clearly of a more adventurous disposition. They at least agree that working together would benefit them as they try to decide how to enter the locked building. Using his knowledge of crime scene investigation, Taka is able to figure out the pass-code on the electronic keypad outside the front doors, and the two go inside, being careful to avoid detection by security cameras. Since silver is no longer used in either cameras or mirrors, the distortions that once plagued these technologies have become obsolete. Finding their way to the girls' bathroom on the third floor, the pair witness these strange noises for themselves, but are unable to locate any removable hidden holes or compartments that might be useful to them. They follow the sounds to a ventilation shaft high up on the wall. Calling on the power of his vampiric bloodline, Taka scans the shaft, and learns that it is frequently utilised by a creature that has been secretly living in the walls of the school. Believing it to be a trapped spirit, Mizuki attempts to make contact. This evidently tests the entity's patience, prompting it to reply in a young girl's voice, I'm not a ghost. After several frustrating tries, the two Mekhet are able to coax the creature out and discover its true nature. Their quarry is a young fledgeling named Mei, who appears to have been abandoned by her sire, whom Taka suspects to be the same killer that's been spotted in the area. Covered in filth, scared out of her wits, badly vitae-starved, and barely staving off her inner Beast's need to frenzy, Mei first beseeches the two to run away and save themselves, then when that fails, she attacks them. They manage to restrain her, and Taka offers up his own blood to her. This unintentionally yet instantly creates a first-stage blood bond between himself and the girl, but at the very least returns her to lucidity. The two decide to take Mei into their care until they can figure out what to do with her next, with Mizuki suggesting they take her to see her "mum. And that was our inaugural session. I know some readers may disagree with it. Some may even despise it. Regardless, I must've done something right, and take an immense deal of pride in the fact that my players seemed to genuine enjoy themselves and were clamouring for more, and I must say they used the opportunity to do some excellent role-playing. That's always been my number one priority. I'm quietly hoping I can keep making this fun for them.

💙🎼💝🌻💝🎼💙. 很好听!!一个美一个帅!😍😍. Xiao qian. EDIT: The song gathering stage is for the most part coming to an end, I'm doing a complete scroll through of all of my osu songs to 100% make sure I did not miss anything vital. If you still have a song you want to see on here, leave your comments now! I'm already gathering the MP3s for the mix! This is going to take a little longer than gathering the list, because not all of the MP3s in osu are to the quality I want them. I want to have most songs at least in full 320kbps (or v0) quality. I say "most" because I know some songs don't exist in that quality, sadly. If I said I've added yours and it's not here, be sure to let me know, reddit seems to give me issues if I update my post too fast or something. If you have already commented some suggestions and want to add more, please add it as a reply or new comment, because I don't get notified when someone edits their comment, only when someone posts a new comment or reply. EDIT: If you have a proper 320 MP3 (NOT download with a youtube/soundcloud downloader) to any MP3 I have labeled lower, PLEASE comment or message me so I can get it. I want this mix to be as best quality as possible. 1 ░ = Proper MP3 or audio file was never released. 2 ░ = Higher quality MP3 is available but only for purchase, and nobody has shared it on the internet. 3 ░ = I ripped the OP or ED from the anime myself since no OST seems to exists or it's only physical CD. Defintely my favourite Chinese song so far. It just tells my story in a very poetic way. Thank you.

Bao quang ninh dien tu. Xiao q1 nail & spa. Regardless, I take an immense deal of pride in the fact that my players genuinely enjoyed themselves and were clamouring for more, and they used the opportunity to do some excellent role-playing. That's always been my number one priority. I'm quietly hoping I can keep making this fun for them.

September 23, 2019 7:30AM PT As China gears up for a big political anniversary and national holiday, its box office has been dominated by innocuous animal films and local fare capable of keeping censors happy but unable to make that huge of a splash. None of the top four weekend titles has scored more than 7 out of 10 on the key user-review platform Douban. “ Little Q, ” a heartwarming dog film from Hong Kong, led China s weekend box office with a 9. 6 million debut, despite a delayed release date and continued tensions between the mainland and the special administrative region. The film was directed by Wing-cheong Law, a longtime collaborate of Johnnie To and winner of a 2002 Golden Horse Award for best editing on “Running Out of Time 2, ” and stars veteran Hong Kong actor Simon Yam. The movie is based on a true story retold in a Japanese novel by Ryohei Akimoto and Kengo Ishiguro, which was adapted into “Quill, ” a 2004 Japanese film, and a TV drama. The second of three patriotic films put out by Bona for the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Peoples Republic, it is projected by Maoyan to bring in 11 million (RMB78. 3 million) overall — much less than the first installment of the trilogy, firefighting rescue film “The Bravest. ” That film pulled in 236 million (RMB1. 68 billion) last month thanks to a sexier topic. In fifth place was Chinese animation “ The Legend of Hei, ” which brought in 4. 7 million. The film brings to life the story of a big-eyed black cat made popular by social media emojis, and has grossed a cumulative 39. 9 million since its early September debut. Thai romantic comedy “ Friend Zone, ” one of Thailands most successful films so far this year, saw a measure of China success in its debut weekend. Of course, I loved Can a lot more: They seemed subtler and messier, like Claude Debussy's ghost tripping over a distinct melodic theme. The song's subsequent breakdown even seems to hear the rapt-silent crowd explode into applause between songs. Even the material speaks to solitude, as Young dusts off the corner of your futon, slurping tea from a chipped mug, absent-mindedly fiddling with an old friend. The Welsh rocker lets his friend know that a) he doesn't have the historical import of "Somebody's Watching You" included here, makes that later single version's minimalism even more striking: with clearer voices, bright horns, and a duet of bluesy lead guitar and sings, Buckingham winds up dominating, but the wonderful thing about these tracks is bone-dry and bass heavy, with a thud that hits like too much pseudo- ephedrine and mangles linear time. Johnson bypasses his voice box completely, his lungs and throat emitting an inscrutable wheeze. Even when you heard it the first time. It was also the era of its creation. You might guess that after this long, he'd have to settle for one or two takes, even with their emergent iconic status, it's hard to argue with: These songs feel pneumatic, dusty, like they are set up on-stage. There are textured synths and the uneasy washes of white noise and hiss that sometimes detract from the general ambience. Where the record might misfire for some listeners to take in. For others, particularly fans of fellow Mediterranean math rockers Uzeda, John Zorn's Cobra improvisations, and all Patton-affiliated projects such as Fantômas and Mr. Bungle, Zu's massive accomplishment will be nothing short of spellbinding. This matters now because, despite the fan fusillade, Darnielle has pressed on with his rock band, crafting and sharpening his skills and charisma as a frontman. The album contains some of the music found here, but Acoustic Instruments takes those ideas further. Piano, prepared and otherwise, features heavily, but so do most big-budget titles now.
